In recent times, Joe has played gigs as a member of the band ‘Sleepwalkers’, aka 'Harry Miller Band'.

This band has a smooth yet choppy combination that supports the warm, soulful tones layered on top resulting in a chilled atmospheric surround sound that will relax you instantly.

With his skills on the keys Joe is able to accompany the band whether it’s with piano, organ, or synthesisers.

With some nice ornamentation that really fills in the spaces with subtlety in any given song Joe can be versatile with his creativeness going from nice little trills when playing jazz pieces to going into locking into the retro vibe that can bring out dread and menace to more heavy songs from the band.

In 2018, Joe joined as a member of the band Blue Side of Midnight

With four decades of experience behind them, having been a success in America and Germany throughout the 1970s + 1980s, BSOM took Joe in with open arms and he would become a great addition to the band.

BSOM were disbanded for many years, but the lead singer Gary had a calling that the band would do one last concert together. That concert would be a charity concert for Teenage Cancer Trust at Hanham Community Centre, Bristol. The concert would be a great success for the charity and the band with much more experience gained for Joe.
